I expected thread to be bloomberg running as republican.
He won nyc mayor as republican.
If he ran as republican it would help ordinary people get a better sense of what a douche trump is.
Bloomberg actually succeeds at business. Trump is all about bankruptcy.

I’d like to see Trump on the debate stage against someone that could buy him out 10 times over. Trump’s ego wouldn’t know what to do. Would be hilarious

No his entrance would so greatly alienate the liberal wing of the Dem party that they’d legit threaten to vote for Trump over an “oligarch” like Bloomberg.
Think of how we’d have felt if the GOPe put Romney into the race after Trump had vanquished all but Cruz and Kasich.
Trump is in the catbird seat. The only way he loses is impeachment in the House and Senate or a crashed economy

I agree that the Dems may be too doctrinaire to nominate Bloomberg. That’s too bad because he would beat Trump head to head. He’s a great campaigner and comes across well on tv.
