Nope.

I wasn’t afraid to compete in the private sector.

Keep it closed. Build the fricking wall.

In my experience the online system works about 50% of the time. You have to call if that doesn't work.

Op, like yourself, Powerman, is a huge race pimp. I find it hard to feel sorry for race pimps.

That’s strange because it is an automated system. Usually takes 10 minutes. That being said, setting up an entity is a state issue. Not fed. You can still set it up. Won’t have any effect on its creation. Any other questions?

If you want to start a business you need the government involved in some capacity. Do you even know what an EIN is?

"All it would take"? It would actually take less than that, like 0.00% of the budget not being allocated to the wall.

Yes, no problem with Delaware. Getting the EIN - at least earlier today - was a no go. Just tried again - it lets you fill out the form and submit it...then it spins forever and finally says "sorry, your request could not be completed".

Someone in this thread said it's down 50% of the time anyway, so I guess I'll just try daily and hope it works. Never had any problem before though.

I also have to apply to TTB for some licenses/certs - I can't imagine that isn't halted at present. The website actually just says "TTB is closed".

You friecking liar. I have an entity I started but isn’t yet operational. Haven’t applied for an ein. Read your thread. Went to the irs site on my phone and just got issued a new ein.

Why would you lie about this?

I literally just tried it at my work desktop and it did not work - same as earlier today.

On my phone. At the airport. Got an EIN.

Even if you couldn’t. Why would this stall anything business-wise? What is it you need the ein for to start doing?

Haha. Only if you want a janitorial company. I’ll sell it to you. I’ve got three successful ones now. This one is in a new city. No clients yet, but great business model. All yours for 150k. You have to change the name, though.
