Shows how disconnected he is with the avg American worker who has not been paid for over 5 weeks. It's absurd to threaten these workers & call them un-American. Cue the jumping up and down & stamping of feet melt down.

Also shows how naive he is, and anyone advising him on this topic, as you simply don't replace someone at ATL or DFW, tomorrow, with someone new or even qualified from another facility. It takes months to get qualified at our larger airports and safely assume those duties (airspace, airport surface areas, emergency procedures, etc).

Yeah, hoax isn't the best descriptor but I think we all know what he meant. He meant the shutdown was orchestrated by the Dims and the Gaslight media and the Dims were trying desperately to pin it on Trump and the Republicans.

It's essentially the same CR the same Dims passed earlier in the year. The issue occurred when Republicans wanted clamp down on medical benefits for Illegals and other wasteful spending that seems to find its way to illegals. The other problem was Schumer got lit up by the radicals in the Democratic Socialist Party for agreeing to the CR earlier in 2025, Schmucky knew he had to play to the radicals in the party when the CR was presented to the Senate Dims in September.
