Anyone believe Ole Miss goes to the extreme measure of changing its Rebel name?

This is both a political post and SEC related post but amid the controversy of the southern historical figures and their symbols, does anyone believe Ole Miss takes drastic measures and changes the “Rebel” name?
Everyone seems to be bowing down to the PC culture, so it wouldn’t surprise me if they completely do away with anything associating the university to the “rebel” name.

My daughter goes there — she says it’s not an issue and no one cares. Now, the statue on campus and the state flag? They take issue with those. Not sure if she is on either side.

I can't believe southern black players from Texas to Florida allowed Miss State to suck while they had a black coach in mississippi.

Our parenting is just fine. Three kids and three different colleges, with two of them done; one with two degrees.
Lol I haven’t discussed every aspect of this with her although we’ve had meaningful conversations about lots of current events.
And a good parent doesn’t force their kid to go to a school of the parents choosing — she’s extremely well pleased with her choice, her classes, her major and her scholarships.
Sorry for your kids that you’ll force your choices on them.

It’s Ole Miss, so I really don’t care, but back when they got rid of Col Reb and changed the mascot to the bear, I thought then it should have been all or nothing at that point. They should’ve made a clean break from everything “old south” or knuckle down and keep it all. This dribble and drab approach to change just makes them look weak to both sides, and prolongs the bad pr.
