The ATF and the FBI had a professional responsibility to appropriately apply force in the performance of their duties. And they failed miserably without being held accountable.
You're right, giving him 50 days to walk out that front door was not nearly enough.

Do yourself a favor and study the underlying principles of Jus ad Bellum and Jus in Bello. Those were innocent people who were murdered, plain and simple.
Only if the people inside the compound had not started the fires.

There is no getting around it.
There's no getting around the fact that David Koresh (a fraud because he had Steve Schnider shoot him in the head because he didn't want to face the "Armies of Babylon" as he proclaimed he would) got those people killed.

Do yourself a favor and watch "Waco: Madman or Messiah," and hear from the people who survived about what went on out there. There's also home videos from Mt. Carmel from years before the siege, as well as recordings of Koresh.
Spoiler alert: the survivors admit to illegal firearms, and Koresh telling them that he knew they'd get raided and die in a fire.

Yes. Because murdering those same girls was so much better.

Clinton years were terrible for federal law enforcement. Ruby Ridge, Waco and this Image..

You can keep your head in the sand all you want, but a Branch Davidian survivor, who was in the compound when the fire started, is on record as saying they started the fires.
Blame big brother all you want, but the fact is David Koresh murdered all those kids and was then too much of a pussy to die in the fire that he had someone shoot him in the head

The McLennan County Sheriff's Department asked ATF to investigate possible federal gun violations in May 1992, after a UPS driver reported delivering big shipments of gun parts, ammo, grenade hulls and chemicals and military gear to Koresh and his followers. The sheriff's department also had reports of explosions and automatic gunfire at Mount Carmel, the sect's property. ATF investigators determined the group was amassing an arsenal, including the means to make illegal weapons. Former followers told ATF before its raid — and at least five surviving Davidians testified afterward — that Koresh taught his followers that he was the Lamb of God and the weapons were for an apocalyptic battle in which they would all be killed; he would be resurrected along with faithful followers to slaughter and judge God's enemies.
The Feds refused to let an independent NDT firm XRay the weapons that were recovered in the fire.
Also, the video cameras that filmed the initial assault somehow disappeared once the investigation started.
Additionally, it came out years later that the Feds did use pyrotechnic grenades or flares capable of causing the CS gas to catch fire.
Too many lies by the Feds to make me believe any of their BS.

A firearms expert from the Federal Bureau of Investigation testified today that 48 fully automatic weapons were found in the charred ruins of the Branch Davidian compound near Waco, Tex.

Most of the materials found were legal, Mr. Cadigan testified, but 48 weapons had been illegally modified to be fully automatic. These included 20 AK-47's, 2 MP-5's, 2 Mac-11's and 22 M-16's.
And yet the Feds never let an independent firm inspect the weapons after the fire. Hmmmmmmm......

And yet survivors from the compound have gone on record stating that they were making illegal fully automatic weapons....oh and that Koresh ordered the that the fires be started.
But hey if you want to ignore the believers who are still mad they didn't die in the fire, then go right ahead

I don’t know if you’ll believe me but I’ve had a very Orwellian day and you just restored my faith in humanity. You know your stuff. I take it you also know about Edward Mandell House, his book, “Philip Dru, Administrator” (in which a small group of behind the scenes elites create a depression in order to usher in a leader who has “fireside chats” published in 1915), and House’s puppet mastery of Woodrow Wilson? You probably do, but I definitely think it’d be up your alley to look into if not.

The survivors admitted it in an independent documentary, but keep swinging and missing if it helps you sleep better at night

You're right, they only had 25 years to decide what they were going to say in the documentary, seeing as how it came out in 2018

Keep sucking off government agencies.
Keep sucking off a dead pedophile...although I'm not sure Koresh would enjoy it as you're too old for his taste

Just watched the whole thing.....
Major phuck up by our government and very hard to watch. Don’t care how crazy D.K. was, that was homicide by the FBI and ATF.

It looked like Netflix was trying to push "everyone accept everyone" with the series. Yeah the ATF and FBI fricked up.
But Koresh, a damaged youth, spun a religion practiced by a third of the Earth to benefit himself by luring those in need of group acceptance. They hardly focused on that, or the gun running. Or that he fricked a man's wife to say their kid was the second coming. Total spin.
