I believe the wrist thing is a microphone. The "live" broadcast was likely on a 3-6 second delay. So, the person on the other end of the wire needed to hear things in real time.

Shock wires applied to his nipples.

His handlers used them to keep him awake and look less like a corpse.

So pretty much, he was wired for the debate.

It's a rosary that he wears on his wrist.

The more I watch the clip with the wire, the more I think it is just his shirt. Just a wrinkle being pushed out of the jacket when he adjusts it.

The wrist thing I still have no clue. That is just odd.

Was my first thought until I looked at the “wrinkle” before he adjusted the jacket. Shows a longer “wrinkle” with no puckering of the shirt anywhere around it. So, he either wears unstarched shirts that have no wrinkles at all save for that one which shows no fabric movement around that wrinkle OR it’s a wire.

Well, if he was wired he still did a shitty job. Looks like he had a lot of botox done before the debate. Maybe that's why he was putting a lid on it all those days.

The wider clip of it, his shirt is bunched up on the other side of his tie as well. A starched shirt can still get bunched up under the jacket as you move.

It very well may be a wire, the clip is just very hard to tell. I could believe either one.

Is there a wider clip out there? I’d like to see it.

I’m talking specifically about no bunching around the semi-circle wrinkle. Usually there would be some fabric pull above or below the arch
