Serious question - who was Carter being manipulated by?
The people that rule the world. Illuminati. Some would say the DS, which is true but the DS is a tenticle of the illuminati.

I still try to vote like the old head that raised me. He was born in 1930 and his political beliefs seemed to be pretty much in line with yours. It's just strange that he never changed his party registration.
Don;t know where he was born, but in the south back then there was the thing called "the Tantamount" which derived from the saying that winning the Democrat primary was "tantamount to Election."
I recall my uncle once telling a family group back in the 40s that he had changed his registration from Republican to Democrat - he said he had never had a chance to VOTE at all - Republicans had no primaries in Louisiana at that time, and actual 'Election Day" was just a formality.
I didn't understand it then, but I remembered the occasion as being something very notable. My uncle had a way with words - and most of what he said was very entertaining - cannot remember anything but that part about 'not being able to vote' - I'm sure he dressed the story up with some good stuff I didn't understand because everyone laughed real hard.)

Jimmy Carter was vastly smarter than anyone who has run for President since Bill Clinton and was still a terrible president.

I remember the election but too young to really know much about carter's 80 campaign.
The worse Presidential campaign I saw was Dukakis. Until now.
