He named 5 ships that he claimed transited the strait. In fact, only 2 have that was nearly 4 months ago. The remaining 3 are presumably stuck in the Persian gulf.

Why is this? It's a global market right? Even our prices at the pump would be inflated... but even most panicans have all but disappeared from starting threads on 'pump prices'.
Could it be there are alternate routes to ship oil, perhaps pipelines are working? I don't know the answer and don't claim to. You, on the other hand would claim that this is much worse than it really is.

I know, these guys think there is a magical ghost fleet escorting tens of millions of barrels per day through the Strait. Uh, can't satellites track ships?
To your point on where ships are, this guy says the blockade is roughly at that line and no ships have cleared any mines.
