MSM seems not to be worried about it with only two days to go. No doubt Stormy and Russians are more prevalent than our financial crisis we seem to run into every couple of months.

Considering the fact that this is the same MSM that predicted a market crash with a 2016 Trump win as well as pushing a narrative that "old people will die" from a tax cut, this doesn't surprise me.

I don’t see a way that the Dems let a shutdown happen.
Having a symbolic shutdown only to cave and then throw the Dreamers under the bus leaves them in a vulnerable position should they try to do it again.
