Probably because Massie knows he will be killed if he released it on his own. He wants it approved for release Congressionally which was voted down because so many people on both sides are on it. It should be released no matter who is on it.

I'll give Massie props here. He voted correctly on this issue. There's only like 60 of them that voted to force a vote on this. The other 380 or however many it is voted to kill it.

It's been a thing for about 20 years and in that time they have paid out between 17-18 million dollars to victims. Damn near a million per year paid out to people these people have been harassing/assaulting. And yeah, it's gonna be people on both sides.
