Lol a DACA fix is not gonna be touchback immigration, that I can tell you
All it takes is for DACA persons to go to or contact their consulates office and get some kind of authorization letter via the U.S. (that's the touchback and vetting part) and get in line with normalization process yet to be defined by congress. (A benefit of this it also culls the bad elements from the good...the bad guys are not going to go to their consulates office and will remain undocumented for ICE agents to eventually catch up to and deport.)
What also needs to be eliminated and part of the "strong border" security is chain migration. We have to stop this cycle and implement better procedures for legal immigration.

So you really think he's going to be able to get meaningful "wins" on border security?

"WASHINGTON — Although President Trump won't get the $1.4 billion he wanted this week to begin building a Southwest border wall, he declared victory Tuesday, saying he will use money from a government funding deal reached by Congress to replace existing border fencing with "an unbreakable barrier."

His negotiating sucks hard, mate. He's a goddamn pushover. I've worked with people like him before - the ones with the loudest bark at our corporate headquarters usually seem the be the quickest to tuck tail when the lights are on in the conference room. Trump's "negotiating" strategies when he was the real estate baron seemed to be: have your peeps short pay on invoices and then tie shite up in the court system knowing that your in-house attorneys are more cost efficient than those of smaller companies who have to outsource their legal bills. That's it. That's his "brilliance". Leverage of access to attorneys. When he's in the actual room he sucks balls at negotiating.
One of Trump's major flaws is his inner need to be liked/respected by his opponents.
Trump is easily led astray by the opposition if they shower Trump with accolades, compliments, adulation, etc.
It's a serious character flaw, I hope Steve Bannon is still a major influence in Trump's decision making but I fear Bannon does not have Trump's ear at this time.
Bannon DGAF what the Dim/Progs/Repubes/Swampers said, he watched their actions and by their actions accurately identified the enemy of the POTUS. Trump is neck deep in the swamp and sinking. He needs true patriots around him and I don't believe he has that influence in his decisions now.

Anyone who voted for him doesn't want him impeached.
It's why he'll win the next election.
