It’s fairly clear that it is Trump, not the Iranians, who want to keep negotiating. There was plenty of doubt about this before the MOU was made public, but once we saw the terms of the MOU it was very obvious who held the strongest hand.

As long as Trump rules out ground troops, Iran will continue to dominate this arena.

We smoked Solemaini and Khamanei and bombed the country for 40 days. How do you expect them to react?

There's a cold reality when dealing with zealot Jihadis.

They don't stop fighting. Their religious tenet is to fight and die until the mission of "Islam to the world" is complete. You'd have to eradicate them all.

And amidst it all, you have to include the ones that represent their sects as "peaceful", because they are merely practicing Taqiyya. Their ideology is masterfully disguised so that you think there are "reasonable" ones that reject the calls to kill non-muslims, but the final earthly words of their diddling faux prophet were curses on Jews and Christians. When it comes to it, your "peaceful" Muslim buddies and neighbors will see you beheaded and not shed a tear.

Always been that way. He’s been thirst trapping for a deal since his bridge and power plant day empty threat.

Iran wants a ground war. It’s their dream scenario because they are effed up morons.

I think we would easily overthrow the IRGC with a ground war. I think their government would completely fall, and their military would no longer be in the field, in just two or three weeks. But the US would suffer some casualties, and the Iranians know Trump won’t do it. And that has been Trump’s big mistake - to go into this with the ultimate trump card off the table. He should have learned that lesson from the Vietnam War.

You don’t need to do this. The battlefield is changing and drones will dominate it. We need to focus on 1 city and inject thousands of drones in to it. Drones that cover the land and air so we can surveille everything. Then just begin killing anything tied to the regime. Kill them 24/7, in their homes, work and etc. Once that city is liberated, distribute weapons to freedom fighters to allow them to clean up what the drones missed. Then move to the next city.
