Poor people (let's say 20K income) who actually work for it are much happier in life than poor people getting 20K in welfare from the govt.
I never needed a study to tell me that. Its common sense that humans' self-esteem is bolstered by achievement not gifts.

wage growth is suppressed.. doesn't help. it's partly because of the "walmartization" of many markets. less competition among businesses who are hiring because the businesses are larger/more powerful than ever today.
There is nothing better than when someone cites 1/2 of an economic action to “prove” a point.

and increase the cost of goods for the other low skill people. here's a raise.. oh, and a dramatic increase in cost of living

Its a 40 hr a week job, waiting until marriage to have kids, and finishing high school.
I know, an impossible mountain to climb... Amiright? Might as well set the finish line on Mars...

The solution is killing all the poor people. Like in that movie "The Purge"

The biggest issue was just completely ignored.
Where the hell is the husband?

Leftists spent the last 50 years telling women they didn’t need a man. Can’t start valuing him now.
