I think you’re needed out west. Bring a megaphone so they can hear you say this.

That guy's rah-rah uber nationalism will make him one of the first to be targeted by the Marxists once they take power.

Leave. Balkanization is only discussed by idiots.
It's The United States of America. PERIOD.
How about the people? I would contend that the people in a country are what define the country. If we swapped the people of Sweden and Japan, and left everything else about those nations unchanged, would they still be the same? How about if we swapped the Swedes with Congolese?
We have, since the 1970's, dramatically changed the demographic makeup of the country.

We need to seriously think about breaking away from this country in as non-violent a manner as is possible.
The likelihood of this happening is extremely small, along numerous fronts. And geopolitically, breaking up the country would ensure that whatever remains would be at the behest of stronger powers. The geopolitics of the rest of this century are going to be tremendously challenging for the US. Fracturing would ensure that what remains would be even less prepared for those challenges.

Just what they want.
Losers that won't fight for the country when the time comes bc they don't think it's worth it.
Chalk me up as a down vote.
We just elected Trump, and we will re-elect him and keep pushing back these idiots. The media makes you believe there are so many radicals, when really it's a fraction of 1%.
Have some faith in your countrymen. Buck up. I see states and cities turning red that NEVER had a shot at that before these polarizing times.
Hold the line while things get weird and wild. Don't be a quitter. The idea of America is worth fighting for.

Whoa there partner....not so fast. I would urge we wait until after this Presidental election before we entertain such a drastic measure. I still have faith the American people will do the right thing and reelect Donald J. Trump to a second term.
Why wouldn't they? Hey, the economy is coming back....with gusto. The Unemployment rate is dropping. Consumer Spending is raging. And when people spend? Sure sign the economy is rebounding. The Kids are back in school.
Plus President Trump just keeps winning. He did something I thought I would NEVER see in my lifetime. He brokered a "real" negotiated Peace Agreement between UAE and Israel. Want to hear a really amazing development associated with this deal? The Hotels in Abu Dhabi are going Kosher ahead of the White House Summit to ink the UAE - Israel Deal. How cool is that? Got President Trump nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.
The President is visible. He's engaged. He's America's biggest fan. He's definitely not hiding in the White House basement reading off a teleprompter. Honestly at times I wonder where does this guy get all that energy.
Keep the faith buddy!

The influence of access or lack of access to resources is so underrated in discussions like these, because those limitations are what formed the ideas we have of "peoples." Geopolitics dictates the same themes and challenges. The only real important aspect of demographics is that it keeps growing. It is one reason why Japan has been in a long period of decline. The other aspects of demographics, such as talent, can be evened out if you have a large enough population from which to draw, but your nation is dying if it can't produce enough people.

Something tells me I have a better understanding of the actual grassroots movement than a boomer with his Facebook and DVR’d Hannity.
I'm 34 years old (not even close to boomer territory), have no social media accounts, whatsoever, and don't have cable/satellite, much less a DVR machine, even if I wanted to watch Hannity, which I do not. I hope you're not a betting man, because you are horrific at predictions.

But until the silent majority starts holding the politicians they elected accountable for massive government expansion and erosion of individual liberty, it is nothing more than a stop gap.
Who do you think elected Trump, the first time around? Why do you think the polls were so wrong? The word "silent" in silent majority is called that for a reason. Nobody asks them for their opinion, and they don't offer it. The only thing that matters is that they show up when it counts. We held these people accountable by voting for an outsider to come in and clean up. Crybabies on this board expect miracles to be worked in the first term. They don't care how far we've come. They just see and hear the noise on TV and throw in the towel.

I think you’re confused about what America actually is. It has nothing to do with your trip to Walmart for an Ozark Trail tumbler before your trip to Orange Beach
This is incoherent, frat boy nonsense that has nothing to do with me or anything I do, nor does it have anything to do with this conversation. Try to stay on point.

It’s a set of ideals that have been abandoned by our politicians and forgotten by its citizens. That ain’t worth saving
It's been abandoned by crooked politicians. They are being called to the mat. And supporting the convention of states movement is another thing that can help, and is currently going very well. If we can successfully pass that in enough states, we can take away a significant amount of power, most notably by imposing term limits on congress. Take away the lifers in congress, and you'll see a lot of change just on that, alone.
And our citizens, as a whole, have not abandoned our ideals. Again, the news shows the craziest of the crazies.
But if you want to give up, be my guest. Just give me your flag before you head into your bunker.

I am with you on the next election if the non voters don’t get their heads out of their butts and vote Trump. If a lot of us vote democrat for president and house in 2024 then democrats win big . And we can all push them to do everything they claim including take our guns.

I'll go down fighting, by God. Fortunately, for me anyway, I consider this a shot at one our finest and defining moments.
