What about for audio books?

Download the “Overdrive” app. for Audio and e-books. You sign in to your local library and download for free. I think you can have up to 14 books checked out at a time.

Edit: no cost for the app or the downloads. Just have to have a library card.

Nah. Just pointing out your hyperbole.

It's literally insane to believe Jeff Bezos wants to "normalize" pedophilia.

You could get a library card if you don't already have one and use Overdrive/Libby. Try the tech board.

Are there any good substitutes for Amazon

B&H Photo Video has all the of the electronics that Amazon does. They even had better pricing on almost all of the PC and networking stuff I ordered recently. They also don't charge sales tax.

Same what? Pedophilia? I have seen zero evidence that Clinton is into pre-pubescent girls.

Did everybody just suddenly have mass amnesia?

EBay was Amazon before Amazon was Amazon. EBay has been better and has always been better. There's literally nothing that I can't get on eBay that I can get from Amazon. And everything about the website is better. The refinement of categories, the lack of ads and bullshite at the borders. It's much more clear and concise. It's the difference between Google as a search engine and Yahoo.

Watch list, notifications, categorization, auction for used Goods, best offer options, purchase history, guaranteed deliveries, conflict resolution, everything, everything about it is better than Amazon. I'll never understand the obsession with Amazon when there was before and always has been a much better online shopping option.

It's called having principles and standing by them. Most people that lack principles can't identify them when they see them.

Crazy that we now live in a world where down the street is less convenient

It's a four year old film from Canada. And right with it are recommendations for Pedophile Hunters, Church Scandals, underage trafficking, and some called The Castration Cure.

I don't think that's normalizing.

There's not much on the wiki except apparently a study on some sorta common brain miss-wiring is discussed as a possible cause. And it apparently interviews two guys that are pedophiles and not commiting crimes. Now if this thing is saying go forth and rape kids there should be an issue. If it's just these are troubles, these are facts, these are probable causes, what should the debate be on solutions? Then what's the problem?
Again with the pesky facts. How is that going to help the OP melt?

I am guilty of becoming too reliant on amazon

If it makes you feel better, Amazon is not nearly the deal center it used to be. Lowest price on a specific laptop I was searching for recently was $200 (25%) more than Best Buy.

eBay has a ton of stuff, a lot with next day delivery. Can’t help you with audiobooks unless you use iTunes.
