The fact of the matter is the people in those areas are primarily governed locally. He was making the point that the residents of those areas are not holding their leadership accountable that is running their government.
Trump offered alternative ways to handle things. The Democrat leadership refused and simply criticized. The citizens through their preferred elected officials had exactly what they wanted; yet, they were blaming an opposing party for their problems?
Additionally, these statements were provided as counterpoint to criticisms of handling issues. If you are not allowed to fix issues as an opposing party, then the only thing you can present is the opportunity to vote in a new solution. It is not divisive at all. It is actually the proposed American way of doing things.
And also it was an example of Trump standing for states rights. It wasn't the feds job to go in and fix those cities and states. Their elected leaders had that job and failed their constituents, which Trump pointed out.

Isn’t that what American hegemony it is all about anyway? Killing afar to maintain the peace at home?
The problem is normal Americans of all political persuasions have grown weary of this era of permanent warfare in distant foreign lands.
That is why the street insurgency tactics of the “Colour Revolutions” and the “Arab Spring” have been turned upon the American people by our nation’s wholly corrupted national security apparatus.
To quote a famous theologian: “The chickens….are coming home….to roost.”

You understand that Biden used his son to solicit bribes from foreign countries?
That Biden was selling his influence and power, for cash, as Vice President?
BIden even arranged for the sale of a US defense contractor, to the Chinese government, despite the fact the sale was a direct threat to US security.
These people are monsters.

The MSM never reports stuff like that.
So the uninformed voters, like the OP, have no idea so blindly pull the lever for the guy.

1. Being rich should be irrelevant and not a criticism.
2. “Rules” actually need to be rules. You even used the correct terminology of “norms” a sentence later. “Norms” are not necessarily a good thing. Many “norms” either absolutely needed to be challenged because they were outdated or stupid or because they were being used by political opposition to undermine positive change.

What do extreme left believe in?
What do extreme right believe in?
What is a moderate, and how do you differentiate between a moderate, extreme left, and extreme right?
Don’t be asking for pesky details.

You and your goddamn “presidential norms.” You know what other presidential norm he broke? Not being bribed and bought off like the imbecile you voted for.

It had nothing to do with covid. If they were worried about covid they wouldnt have had so many people there, not distanced, not wearing masks.
He was literally holding campaign events with thousands of people not wearing masks during the height of the covid pandemic.

Your an uninformed, emotional idiot who shouldn’t vote. Are you a woman? You must be a woman.
A woman who only watches CNN.

They weren’t worried about Covid. The entire country was shutdown. Also, you don’t really care what he does or doesn’t do in the rose garden just like you don’t care what anyone in the Biden family does in China or Ukraine.
It doesn’t matter either way, if the rose garden thing is what did it for you then whatever.
It’s just that you actually believe that what your saying makes any sense to a single person on this board.

You know it was perfectly acceptable on the show “designated survivor” so why are you so mad something was done at the rose garden?
Why are the media, Dems, and Hollywood cool when Jack Bauer does this shite, but when Trump governs the same way he is suddenly so horrible?

So?
Intelligent people saw it for what it was. A manufactured crisis with little true danger of illness.

And my county has a grand total of 16 Kung Flu deaths.

Kung Flu is a hilarious name for it, we can agree on that at least.
Also screw China, we can probably agree on that too.

By moderate I mean people who can see that there are good and bad on both sides of the aisle, people who don't like woke culture or the BLM riots ect. but think also think Q and storming the capitol were bad?

think the extreme left and the extreme right are both bad for our country.
It's a matter of degree. One side of that is really dangerous.
The other extreme where Buffalo heads and doesn't do much.

Does anyone else here consider themselves a moderate?
My views haven't changed. Yes I consider myself a moderate. The entire right wing just about has drifted left to me.
The left has sprinted of the left cliff of insanity.
