Considering that neocons are nothing more than evolved Trotskyites, it isn't terribly surprising.

I'm in agreement with anyone who isn't completely brainwashed about the embarrassment that was broadcast worldwide yesterday

Hardly the first time.
Ex: the left has been good buddies with W for a while. Not so much when he was the face of the GOP.

I’ve noticed it and I love it.
They are quoting esteemed winners like George W Bush, Bill Kristol, and Donald Rumsfeld about how you should conduct foreign policy.
I can’t wait for the left to praise Dick Cheney next. Please let it happen.

Who are the Neocons, and how do they relate to a divided party again? Aren't they republicans?

Someone from the left (Hillary's former campaign manager, or lawyer, or spokesman - sorry, I cannot remember which), was on Tucker Carlson's show last night quoted Dick fricking Cheney in an attempt to slam Trump.

Never thought of it like that, but the clarity of that statement is noticeable.

They are the architects of America's hyper-interventionist foreign policy and are the very people the left were crying out against in 2002 when it was hip and cool to be anti-war. Their embrace of neocons is further proof that your average Democrat is about as anti-war as Dick Cheney. Time to embrace such "liberal" values as the national security state and perpetual war.

no matter what would have happened yesterday, you would have been "embarrassed" by it. talking points were prepared for any outcome, and you'd just be following along with whatever you're told to be outraged about.
in your bubble, these talking points are everything, but to everyone else, they're just fodder for memes. outside of the left, we're only listening to the howling to pick up the major points and then make fun of them.

Generally, yes, they are all members of the Republican party. This is just another idiotic post by the reckless republicans. There is no consistency or logic.

Hillary might be the biggest neocon out there (since McCain is inactive).

It just seems funny to accuse the Democrats of having a fractured party because they associate with a fractured wing of the Republican party.
BTW, Democrats have historically been pro-war, it's the conservatives that were anti war until they figured out how much profit was in it.

Correct. They are merely the right-hand complementing the left-hand of neoliberalism. Two wings, ostensibly at odds, yet serve the same overall purpose and end-goal, but have the great fortune of having the failures of one to blame on the other.
