Alternate History: Kennedy Brothers.

How do you think the political legacies of the Kennedy brothers would have played out under these four scenarios:
1. Joe Kennedy isn't killed, JFK isn't killed, RFK isn't killed, and Chappaquiddick doesn't happen.
2. Joe Kennedy is killed, but JFK isn't, RFK isn't, and Chappaquiddick doesn't happen.
3. Joe Kennedy is killed, JFK is killed, but RFK isn't and Chappaquiddick doesn't happen.
4. Joe Kennedy is killed, JFK is killed, RFK is killed, but Chappaquiddick doesn't happen.

In any scenario, there is at least one more Kennedy president

Teddy would have still been a drunk in all 4 scenarios.

1. Joe Kennedy isn't killed, JFK isn't killed, RFK isn't killed, and Chappaquiddick doesn't happen.
Hard to say, because Joe died young. He was supposed to be the one being groomed for politics, though. I don't know much about the guy other than he was killed in WWII, so I don't know how far he would go. As for the other three brothers, if Joe made the big time, they would reach Congress, or powerful positions in Massachusetts politics. There are so many changes here that Chappaquiddick would be butterflied away.
2. Joe Kennedy is killed, but JFK isn't, RFK isn't, and Chappaquiddick doesn't happen.
Robert Kennedy runs for President in 1968 and probably wins. As for Ted, even without Chappaquiddick, people may have reached Kennedy fatigue by the time he takes a shot at the White House. Kind of like Jeb!
3. Joe Kennedy is killed, JFK is killed, but RFK isn't and Chappaquiddick doesn't happen.
Same as number 2.
4. Joe Kennedy is killed, JFK is killed, RFK is killed, but Chappaquiddick doesn't happen.
This may be Ted's best shot at the Presidency, perhaps a force against Reagan in '84. Maybe earlier, like 1976, since he doesn't have Chappaquiddick hanging over him.

Good analysis. Never forget Teddy was actively collaborating with the Soviets to try and hurt Reagan politically.

Teddy could have won in 1976 simply because the deck was stacked against Ford.
I don’t see how he could have won against Reagan in 1984 simply because people were sick of the Taxchussets Liberal on the national level by then thanks to Speaker Tip O’Neil amongst others. With the economy roaring, he would have been a better candidate than Mondale but still lost in a rout.

I revise my analysis on number 2.
John F. Kennedy wins a second term in 1964, so I doubt Bobby would run in '68. He may run later, say 1980, which pushes Ted out of the Presidential picture completely.
My original answer for number two moves to number three.
It would have been interesting to see where we would be today as a society had JFK, RFK, and MLK lived meaning no LBJ for President. Maybe no Nixon. Interesting to think about.

Teddy would have still knocked up a campaign worker and murdered her.

Without Chappaquiddick, Ted probably gets the Dem Nomination. Everyone forgets how weak the Dem bench is post-JFK: LBJ rides JFK’s coattails, Carter gets in due to Ford pardoning Nixon, Clinton gets in when Bush raises Taxes, Obama was black, Biden needed cheating.
It’s more interesting to ask what happens if RFK is alive when Chappaquiddick happens. Because I think Ted goes to jail.
