This is not accurate. I know two who are in this exact situation.

Describe their situations bc I’m curious. 15 yrs Fed service with the same agency or 15yrs total but less than 1yr with new agency? What type of authority were there hired using? There are some that allow termination at the discretion of the current admin.

This makes perfect sense after thinking about it.

This would be everyone an outgoing administration would have put in place to sabotage a follow-on administration....

Your imagination is wrong. You don’t even have to tell me you’ve never worked for the BLM or USFS without telling me you never have.

Did you even read what I posted? Office workers, Slick. Not military or field staff.

USFS is 80% women locally. In fact, when I applied decades ago I was told not to care, because if I wasnt female or veteran I wasnt ever getting hired.

You can’t be serious. Imagine thinking these low iq government employees who have zero accountability are critical to anything. Half of them aren’t even working which is why they are so opposed to going back to office where they won’t do anything but waste taxpayer money anyway.

What the living frick? Low IQ? Who are you referring to, the geologists, the doctors, the archaeologists, the biologists, the hydrologists, the foresters, and all other specialists that run our country?

Or are you referring to the oil changer down the street working for a Valvoline Express?

Office workers

What’s considered an office worker? An archaeologist who works on CRINAs for example goes out into the field maybe once a week to collect data or monitor a site. Are they considered field goers or office workers?

What about a hydrologist? They’re busy collecting and analyzing data on the computer most of the time, but they do go out to the field to collect said data.

Most of these jobs are held by men, not women.

The private sector is tight right now contrary to what Biden was reporting. Injecting potentially a million people into that all at once is dangerous.

Idk - ask why they want to raise the debt ceiling another few trillion dollars.

Based on my experience with them, the USFS should fire all of its interpreters and use private contractors.

These aren’t political appointees based on their vote.
Trump was clear during his campaign - government would be sized down. Waste and fraud would be eliminated.

I voted for THAT. So did the people you say were owed a job because of their vote.

You can blame predecessors who allowed this bloat to happen.
No one is entitled to tax dollars. This mindset has to be broken.

A lot of the voted for DT too....sad. LMAO at the layoffs at DOE, and then rush to rehire the critical nuclear billets. They need to get their heads out of their arses and get organized, and a little patience and attention to detail will serve them well over the next 4 yrs....

People in the private sector have to justify their continued employment every day.

When companies downsize, there are some thay will be lopped off regardless. Most of the remainder will have to essentially reapply for the jobs they have.

Stated another way: suck it up buttercup.

If you work for government vote democrat.

There. Better?

If you vote based on the entitlement program called government, then no you shouldn’t have voted for this Admin.
There are zero surprises here - he campaigned on this. Anyone surprised didn’t pay attention.

And I won’t miss one single, solitary federal government employee. Same would be true for the state.

LSU6262 you do understand normally when you change for a Dem to Rep President almost all nonpermanent employees are let go by the incoming President. Trump did not do this his first time in office. This the normal way Washington DC has worked since I was born.

The Dems got up in arms over all those Clinton employees were about to be let go by Bush, saying look at all the years of service the government is letting go. The Dems were trying to make the positions permanent even back in the early 2000s.

Did you hear the Reps cry after 12 years of Reagan-Bush when they were rotated out?

I don't care. 15 years of federal service is akin to 30 years at the post office.... worthless shitebags.
