I found this Politico article interesting.

https://www.politico.com/news/2024/01/28/gop-primary-national-politics-00138219

I disagree that Trump is destroying the importance of local influence in elections. With the new media being able to get a message out bypassing the MSM, national politicians no longer require local endorsement to get the grass roots organization they once did. If anything the roles have reversed, especially with Trump. Local elections are now influenced by national platforms.

It is hard to argue against the shift from local to national in the recent past. Hell even sheriff elections are now based on the position a candidate takes on national interests.

His move to defer to the states on abortion alone proves this is not true.

Of course those pushing the RESET want us all focused on national politics. Just stay local and it completely disrupts their agenda. POTUS Trump obviously, is a disaster for their RESET agenda.

Populism is cool. Stay cool!!

That's not what "all politics is local" means.

It means that people vote for what affects them locally: Economy, crime, etc.

Trump leading in polls does not contradict that.

bullshite article is bullshite.
