Back on topic. During his confirmation, I got the feeling he is a lot like Trump. He doesnt need this shat, he said himself he has had and has a good life. But he loves the DOJ and his country. He all but said he is disgusted with what a political hack dept it has become.
I think he knows there will be expectations of some quick and decisive action regarding many personnel, and mueller cant use the ole "sources and methods/on going investigation" to blanket every broken law in the US. Let him finish his fairy tale, it wont stop prosecuting the strozak, page, bakers etc. in the meantime.

I dont think Barr had to do anything, Mueller saw this spinning out of control within hours and didnt want egg on everyone's face.

Trump knows Barr’s background and connection with Mueller. I believe Trump encouraged him to flaunt it to the Senate. I am 100% convinced that the prof filth will turn on Mueller in the end and blame Barr. Hell, we are already beginning to see the first stages last night.
