All of these socialists being elected mayor of blue cities.... what's the endgame?

Is that where they think the revolution will start? In blue cities? I don't think they can even hold power there for any length of time, as the more of the well-off of the citizenry (whose dollars are needed to support the regime) are free to move out. New York's experiment with socialism is already a failure. And that women in Seattle is crazier than a shithouse rat.

So how do the Democratic Socialists of America and the Revolutionary Communists, et al, envision this going down? Do they think these cities are laboratories for socialism to succeed and spread? Are they going to metastasize to state houses in blue states, and eventually to red states? Can a socialist municipality survive and thrive on its own without nourishment from a broader state and national commitment to the cause? I don't see it.

Somebody tell me what the socialist revolution is going to look like in a place that has the greatest capitalist economy in the history of the world.
