Let’s not act like the law industry hasn’t lurched leftwards. Nobody out there that Alex Jones would hire would give him fair representation after some of the things he’s said
Lawyers like challenges. They like it even better to be well-paid to undertake a challenging case. You are mistaken. There are hundreds (perhaps thousands) of lawyers who would have enjoyed the case.

Jones has the worst attorneys in history, the ones he has fired and the ones working the case now are idiots.

So true and it's going to cost him millions.

The big question is will the fact that he so blatantly lied about the Sandy Hook killings and then lied under oath about the contents of his text messages blow his credibility with his listening audience. Time will tell.

I can assure you that no lawyer who wants to remain a lawyer and/or wants to avoid a massive malpractice claim (that insurance would not cover) would do something like that on purpose.

You might be right, but they needed a reason for a mistrial and this could actually work.

They have already asked for a mistrial and it was denied, but they may find a judge that will grant him one in the future.

I wouldn’t put it passed his lawyers. A lot of lawyers are sketchy especially high priced ones.
