Hmm... I wonder if this has anything to do with his new movie, Framing John DeLorean, coming out.

quote:

“I can’t imagine I would do it again,” Baldwin said. “I just can’t. They should find somebody who wants to do it.

quote:

Asked who should replace him, Baldwin said, “I don’t know. Darrell Hammond did it and is a far better impressionist than I’ll ever be. When Anthony Atamanuik (started impersonating Trump on Comedy Central’s The President Show), all these people were attacking me, saying, ‘Oh, your impression sucks and you suck. Please go away.’

I agree completely. This prick has nothing on Darrell Hammond.

So the last 20 years of his "career" was having a small supporting role on a network sitcom? That's pretty much the definition of has been to me.

Except he has had steady work over that entire time period.

A lot of good stuff too.

Trump moves toward cementing this Term as one of the most effectual and critical in the Nation's history...and Baldwin mocks such, to the cheers of folk who have utterly lost touch with reality. And while Trump moves toward a sure re-election...Baldwin struggles to maintain sanity.

The joke is on Baldwin.

Trump beat the Mexicans and Baldwin on the same day?

Not to mention Punchy got divorced and Nervous Nancy got a nickname.

Yep, starting to see stress fractures. They are tiring of the literal same ole song and dance with no prize to be won.

All of a sudden nobody remembers him in The Departed either.

James Woods can't even find work and hasn't been in anything since 2013. This board is really in love with that has been.

I loved The Departed but honestly, you could have cast Crispin Glover in that role and the movie still would have been aswesome. It's a Martin Scorsese film for God sake. Baldwin was just lucky enough to be cast in it. DiCaprio, Damon, and Jack made that movie.

Had nothing to do with appearing in Scorsese's The Aviator several years prior?

I guess he was lucky then too huh?

Yeah, because he's been getting steady work for 20 years and for one reason or another it bothers you.

I didn't like him on Knots Landing, so I guess I was ahead of the curve.
