No. Just no. The actor who is using the weapon should check the loads in it before he points it at person and pulls the trigger. It does not matter what the actor is told about the weapon beforehand.

Close friend of mine just recently retired from working in Hollywood on set with dozens of prominent actors. Her comment to me was that in all the movies she worked on set with Clint Eastwood, he ALWAYS checked his prop guns personally after being told they were "cold" immediately before the scene was filmed. That's firearms safety 101 which Eastwood learned during his military service, if he didn't already know it.

Possible? Sure. But how likely? Can’t be too many on the set that had access… it’s a remote location…

When I hunt with my family we always say it’s loaded/unloaded if we’re handing guns around.

And then we always doubt each other and check anyways.
