I doubt this has a chance of passing though. I'm betting most people who don't research at all will see "new debt" and vote no.
I researched it and saw "new debt" and voted no.
How about we charge a fee to those who use the park rather than dump a new debt on the entire state? most of the state will never set foot in the park or reap any economic benefit from it.

It appears Alabama will get just what it deserves for Governor... without a runoff If the people in the state gave a crap about there own children, they would have had much better turnout. Worst Education Governor in memory.. and I'm old.
I told one of the campaigns 4 years ago that they should run as the "Education Governor". Didn't listen. While the candidates talk about it, none really ran on it this time.
And Alabamians appears to have forgot Ivey decided which businesses were essential at the start of the pandemic.
Really mind blowing.
... I'm going to go play "Alabama" by Neil Young.

Durant just hit it on the head "you can't stand here and complain about what is going on in Washington DC, and then cast your vote for someone who is part of the establishment".
This applies to Katie Britt for DC and Kay Ivey for the Montgomery Swamp establishment.

It's really terrible. She's completely awful.

Yes… it’s true. Alabama voters are dumb. Stupid. That average IQ map a week or so ago was kind. It said the average IQ in bammer is around 96. The truth is… it’s more like 85. /smh

It's debt that should be covered by the state parks budget without having to increase it. I'm not sure what the downside is here.

I'm guessing most areas of the state just ignored her orders outright, but man you'd think more people would care that she tried to make them at all.

So disgusted that old bag is gonna avoid a runoff. She is beyond awful.

You got that right ... well, twice.
"Against Mike Rogers for Congress. He’ll win, but he’s a swamp creature. He’s been there long enough."

This is why Alabama sucks. This thread on this board is proof positive. Just awful

Katie doing her speech... appears to be on speed ..
did NOT say she would debate Mo ... but did take shots at him.

Yep…. voters bought in to Katie’s crap…. Mo in second… and Durant in third. He says his support is going to Mo. He didn’t like the way Katie’s campaign went.

The only thing awful here is 4 more years of MeeMaw.

Mo will win Huntsville and Katie will take the rest of the state.

If Katie doesn't get 50% tonight, I'm not sure she will in a runoff either. Especially with Durant throwing his support behind Mo.

Mo Brooks speech cut short so Granny could talk ... Have not heard her mention K-12 Ed yet. But she did mention football.
Katie full speech ... two minutes of MO ... cut in for Ivey. Planned that way?
