It is comforting that CNN went with "people familiar with the matter" as their sources. I assume that means these people are familiar with Trump, tariffs, and Christmas.

People familiar with the matter make the best sources.

This should make you happy because it seems like Trump is listening to his advisers to make final decisions, right?

Or are you trying to make this into a "can you believe how easy it is to manipulate Trump. Just tell him it is about Christmas and he'll do anything?"

However, if he went forward with the tariffs against his advisers you would be claiming he is unhinged and a dictator who will not listen to anyone about anything and he is hell bent on destroying Christmas and the Country. 25th Amendment, Peach Mints and all that other crap.
