No problem.
The more I read about this the more I think the shooter gets a life sentence. I don’t know how they get a fair trial though. Too much exposure and media spin have likely tainted the jury pool.
They do need a fair trial and I do think they get convicted.

Nonsense under these circumstances. Guy is jogging and has nothing (that I saw) in his pockets. If you see the guy running while dragging an air compressor you saw him walk out of a construction site with? Perhaps.
I will say this. Another video breaks down each component by Georgia Law.
1) It stated by entering the home under construction that Arbrey had committed a felony.
2) Under Georgia Law any person that is a witness to a felony can detain a person under citizens arrest.
3) Both of the McMichaels had the right to care a firearm under Georgia Law.
So the case really begins and ends when Arbery made a move to grab the gun and what went on from that point.

Believe it’s a misdemeanor though. And apparently everyone that posts here does it all the time.

I thought everyone goes into people’s property and takes a “looksie” around.
Stated over a hundred times in these threads how perfectly normal this is.

Well to be truthful, the Media are going to do this with or without THIS particular story.
No doubt. It’s what the scumbags do. It just pisses me off that these assholes created SUCH an inflammatory narrative. Well, the local PD sure didn’t help matters either. It’s huge, and it has even pitted some of us who are on the same side 98% of the time against each other. There’s been some pretty outlandish shite on this very board in support of the redneck, which is quite disappointing to me.

the two need to face justice. The “jogger” didn’t deserve to die.

Not at all considering he was lauded as this long time dedicated jogger.
I am going to locate some cargo jogging shorts though. All dem pockets....

I’m contributing making fun of the media spin which I find to be very harmful to the nation.
I really don’t give a frick if you approve or not.
But, do you know where I can get some cargo jogging shorts? That would make you useful for once.

Agreed. Pure choir boy. Angelic. Apparently his prom photo was the last pic taken of him. The spin is just like Trayvon, Michael Brown, and Alton Sterling all over again. Difference being that nothing indicates Arbery deserved what happened.

He’s saying the two should face justice. What’s wrong with you?

Don’t dedicated and long term runners wear running or jogging shorts wherever you and your unfortunate neighbors live?
Do you know where I can get some or not?

quote:I know that. I'm asking in which forum has Arbery been portrayed as "angelic"? I've followed the story fairly closely and haven't seen that.
He’s saying the two should face justice
In any event, who cares how he's portrayed? It has literally zero bearing on what happened.

I want some some cargo jogging shorts like he was wearing. It must be all the new rage in the dedicated running world.
Do you know or not? If not, STFU. You are damn near useless.

Oh I don’t know. People interested in the truth.
Don’t act like the media didn’t paint him in a certain light. The media spin creates more harm than good.
They could have used a mugshot picture of him that would have been more recent than a HS senior picture. Don’t be obtuse.

Me too. It doesn't matter if the dude was walking, jogging, biking, etc. It makes no difference in the end what his fitness habits were. Nobody focuses on the fact that the cops have been called on people trespassing (and trespassers were of different races) at the property several times. It's obvious that it's a problem that the owner and neighbors are aware of. Why else would the owner install security cameras to monitor the inside of a construction site? The neighbor called the police because of someone trespassing, not because of someone jogging. Does anyone know if the McMichael's claimed that they saw him sprint from the house, or that they suspected he was sprinting from the house?
I'm not justifying their actions...just sick of the narrative "we can't even go jogging."
