Exactly what I would expect him to do, given that he was, you know, protecting Trump.
Barr might not be the sharpest tool in the thread, but Trump has made it abundantly clear that he expects his AG to act like his personal lawyer.

Louis Lerner’s weaponization of the irs
Fast and furious scandal that led to one of our border patrol agents to be killed.
The fact that a large percentage of the Obama stimulus package went to donors and then the companies went under
The mishandling of Benghazi and the then blaming of it on a video that resulted in an innocent man being jailed
The uranium one deal
The meeting on the runway between Loretta lench and bill clinton during the Clinton investigation in which we were told they talked about grand children
The fact that the laptops and cell phones used by Hillary Clinton and her staff were destroyed
The fact that Hillary Clinton has a private email server containing classified intelligence and was hacked by the Chinese, then Hillary Clinton was allowed to delete 30000 emails that were supposedly about yoga and a wedding???
The fisa warrants that led to the investigation and how they were made up by the intelligence department in order to get the warrants...
