Second, you're saying that the definition of life is totally dependent on the medical innovation in a given time and place.

That doesn't seem to be adequate, imho.

We are clearly discussing ideology rather than constitutional interpretation.

No knowledgeable persom in good faith will contest the premise that a genetically-unique living organism comes into existence at the instant of fertilization. That is not really the question. The real question is WHEN does the right not to be killed vest in that organism, because we legally and morally kill living organisms all the time.

You clearly think the right should vest immediately, probably because "it is human." I disagree, but I do not attribute any ill motives to you for that analysis, though I do understand that some who support choice feel otherwise. I think they are wrong in asserting that you have ill motives.

I find it odd that your side tends almost uniformly to impute ill motives to those who feel that the right in question vests at some later time.

So a 13 year old girl gets raped and she has to just deal with it? Abortion isn't a black and white issue just because you say it is. How about that 10 year old girl that was raped and become pregnant? frick her too?
