Honestly it is not unrealistic to see 2 independant canndidates...
The DNC really wants to boot out both Bloomberg and Bernie.
Bernie is too far left and Bloomberg is too far right.
It would be entertaining to see 4 realistic candidates in November- Trump, Bernie. Bloomberg, and whoever the DNC politburo picks.

Bloomberg would take the never trumpers (so 3% of the Republicans) and any non-socialist democrat (so like 35%). For those that think he is done, just wait till he starts paying off the union bosses for endorsements.

Bloomberg is a narcissist. You can't tell a narcissist anything, because they're brilliant, and everyone else are idiots. There's so much video/audio of Bloomberg shooting his mouth off, it's impossible to prep an excuse for each one.

Dream scenario below:
If Bloomie runs as an Indy, Dems could get eviseracted in blue states since their majorities would be split bigly to give Trump pluralities:
DC is a lost cause though and Vermont would still go for Bernie.

If he goes indy, that becomes a real danger in the general. He was never going to get democrat votes in any real numbers. But he could certainly draw enough Romney Republicans to hand the general election to the Dem nominee.
