I support using subpoena power to investigate where the evidence leads.
Just asking your opinion here. From what you have witnessed and remember, and the facts that have been uncovered, do you see any evidence of any laws having been broken by Trump, either on Jan. 6 or in reference to the raid on Mir-a-lago? How do you see this playing out?

Right, but when did you stop beating your wife?
Some questions have faulty premises built into them.
Then if you don’t support using subpoena power against political opponents, just preface your answer by responding that you don’t.
This is not difficult.

Would be prime time television for Trump to sit across from Ms Piggy and call her names

Does the fact he is a former president and political opponent give him immunity from investigation and possible prosecution by subsequent administrations?
That precedent was actually established during the Trump administration. I was told by Democratic congressional leaders that attempting to investigate a political opponent was an impeachable offense.

Can they hold him in contempt?

This what Bannon was just sentenced for
Maybe I need to rephrase the question... Trump will show up to this hearing.. In a court of law you can be charged with contempt for going against the judge's orders.. So if Trump goes against the committees "rules/orders" can they charge Trump with contempt?
