This takes basic common sense.
Maybe people wouldn't have voted for someone who cheated on his wife with pornstars.
Therefore, using campaign contribution to pay hush money affected the outcome of the election. It's not hard stuff.
From SDNY (aka the US Government):
“While many Americans who desired a particular outcome to the election knocked on doors, toiled at phone banks, or found any number of other legal ways to make their voices heard, Cohen sought to influence the election from the shadows. He did so by orchestrating secret and illegal payments to silence two women who otherwise would have made public their alleged extramarital affairs”

Right... that's what I said?

hush money prevented the Ohio Mennonites from learning the pussy grabber was up to more than locker room braggadochio.

Lol. Congress has a sluggish fund to pay people off with. Of taxpayer money.
Should they all go to jail?
As someone said earlier in this thread, please quote the legal statue, then we can talk.
We now have plea agreements from Cohen and now AMI and you wanna divert attention to congress. Your desperation is obvious.

Truth is and everyone knows it.
Mueller is all about affecting the outcome of the 2020 elections. The collusion to influence an election is happening right before our eyes between Mueller and the Democrats.

Yeah, I just wanted to add this for those to see what the US government's position on the matter for emphasis.

Sorry bud, but telling the truth and revealing facts isn't affecting the outcome in an illegal way.

Exactly! The GOP's MAIN defense was that this was just locker room talk.
If these women would have come forward about their affairs it would have been bad. But the worst part was that the affairs took place while Melania was recovering from giving birth. That's politically toxic.

I kinda heard this argument but didn't get the full context. They're saying a campaign contribution turned the tide of the election? How so?
That said, I'm pretty sure it happens a lot. You have to be stupid to get caught.

For it to be criminal, the government must prove Trump's actions were willful and knowlingly violations of the law.

They got nothing on Trump...please impeach Trump, then we'll have a trial in the Senate, and they can drag every douche that partook in the $17 Million sexual misconduct slush fund, that was tax-payer funded, to testify how much money they took for payoffs.

Both AMI and Cohen have said that Trump and people in the campaign were willful participants in this scheme.
They have evidence... like tapes and invoices.

That constitutes a conspiracy. They could have buried Cohen with a conspiracy charge. They didnt bury Cohen because there was no conspiracy. Cohen fricked up all on his greedy arse own.

Who ISN'T attempting to "affect the outcome of the election."
Every journalist who publishes an opinion
Every political commercial on radio or television
Any person who puts a campaign sign on their lawn
Any user who tweets something political
They are ALL trying to "affect the outcome" and influence votes.

So you're happy with Wikileaks publishing Hillary's emails.
Good to know.
