The problem is people who come here don't want the 'melting lot's either.
What they want is more like a six-burner stove with separate pots for each color/ethnicity/gender.

The only "melting" is the snowflake melts. The U.S. is now more like a collage where each different "group" retains its own separate identity and there is no common culture or ideal.

That's interesting. I didn't realize that Trump was the first President ever to pass Immigration laws, have physical barriers between US & Mexico, and have Customs in place to vet everyone coming into the country.
