Let’s not define an entire people by their poor. I speak English. Occasionally I throw in some Louisiana flourishes but it’s simply English. My children speak English. No one should push a dialect as a language on kids. Many of the immigrants that I meet speak English poorly, but their children speak English very well. That is the standard and it should remain so.

The word “ progressive” has already flipped 180 degrees in meaning.
Don’t call it black English, call it “pidgon” or “Ebonics” or “ gangsta”….
This will just lock more people into welfare..
