Before that existing fencing went up, the federal government launched its most aggressive seizure of private land in decades. In less than a year, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security filed more than 360 eminent domain lawsuits against property owners, involving thousands of acres of land in the border states of Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California. And in countless cases, the government gave landowners lowball offers based on flawed appraisals. Many of those land seizure cases remained tied up in court more than a decade later.

It doesn't

But, I don't like circumventing congress, either

i think it's an easy argument to make that circumventing congress (people elected to appropriate funds and to pass legislation) violates the civil liberties of all americans

You think the government doesn’t have the right to the land at the border. That’s cute.

I’m sure, juice, you would also be opposed to what the federal government did after Katrina when they took land in order To install new levees and floodwalls.

You would have told them no, I do not want flood protection for south eastern Louisiana and protect my house

So you're saying the IRS violates my civil liberties?
I'll allow it.

You are arguing with a guy that acts like he’s some huge civil liberties champion yet supports harrassing unending federal investigations in search of a crime not because of a crime.

It’s best to ignore that level of hypocrite
