It's one of those books that you shouldn't worry about because it's obviously doubtful that you've ever read a book as an adult.

As you grow older, and hopefully wiser and less smarmy and hubristic .... perhaps you'll leave your mother's basement and read a book or two rather than gleaning all of your limited info from this board and various other dull and dingey corners of the Internet.

Here's the complete interview, for those interested.

Oh, the irony.
Imagine thinking someone doesn’t read books because they didn’t leap at the chance to devour a Supreme Court justice’s "literary masterpiece" - a book so niche it probably has fewer readers than a toaster manual. Bold assumption, my guy.

But let’s be real: this post isn’t about books. It’s about you and your self-important need to broadcast your latest diatribe and bask in the glow of imagined intellectual superiority. You don’t want a conversation; you want a podium. And frankly, if your argument hinges on that book as the litmus test for literary engagement, maybe it’s time to recalibrate your hot takes.

I miss the days when we didn’t hear squat from or about Supreme Court justices. Frankly, I don’t remember a time when they even wrote books about while sitting on the bench.

I agree, somewhat. But the book is more about the process than simply her personal decisions.

This demand of "100% compliance" by we Conservatives these days .... I get it, I feel ya, but it will prove counterproductive in the long run if we're not careful. Yes, the libtard activist judges do it more often than not, but 47% of the court's decisions since ACB joined the bench .... have been 9-0 decisions. Many of those lean in our favor.

There are no absolutes in today's modern courts .... never has been for that matter.

Clarence Thomas says hi. And assuming you're at least 25 years old .... Antonin Scalia is waving down at you.

Im so fricking tired if this soyboy defeatist bullshite. We are in the "long term" right now and cant do anything proactive because we are cleaning up the mess of decades of losing to the left. Im sorry to be rude, but this isnt a novel concept. You are just repeating the same stupid arse bullshite ive heard all my life.

"We cant get all our way because what happens when tables turn...blah blah blah"

Weve already seen what happens with 12 years of Obama/Biden that wrecked this country.

All the concessions of the Bush years to the left...wrecked this country

Reagan conceding to the left on immigration...wrecked this country

We had a generation of "we cant win on everything or..." inherit a great country and leave behind a broken farce of what it once was.

I dont mean you personally...but frick this attitude. Ive had enough of it. Yes I do expect 100% adherence to logical governance and 0% tolerance to clown world governance.

Would you call that rant of yours above ...

1 - Making it up as you go?

2 - Projecting and obfuscation?

3 - A misrepresentation of the facts?

4 - An outright lie?

5 -All of the above.

The fact is that I posted about an interview between Bret Baier and ACB and, in full disclosure, noted that she was promoting her book. I also noted, in full disclosure, that as a result of watching the interview I had decided to buy the book and give it a try.

The rest is historical fact as to how it was interpreted.

Your replay is, well, All of the above.

I agree with you ... no worries.

It's just that one thing old age has taught me is that it's taken us over 100 years to get into this mess. Since 1919, pre-FDR even. As my Dad said to me many times starting back in the sixties regarding our government before the phrase "Deep State Swamp Rats" was coined ... "when the American people have finally had enough - we'll have to make a mess to fix this mess."

The marxists and communists have had over 100 years to mess shite up. We're not going to be able to fix it overnight, but the pendulum is swinging hard back our way and, this time we may just shift the pivot point back to the Constitutional Right in the process.

These midterms are going to be crucial. Historically crucial ... like never before.

Yet, when any of us pointed out what a fiscal abomination the BBB was we were attacked saying, “It’s better than nothing! Be happy with a half loaf!”
