AAG Dhillon going in on H1B abuse

Something has shifted the past month or so and this administration is going all in on stopping Visas but especially H1Bs it seems. I have been sky screaming about it and said I will be a single issue voter because I thought Trump wasn't going to do crap because he basically brushed it off to the side once the Iran war started.
It's very good to see the blitzkrieg this admin is throwing at it this past month and I hope they keep going until all jeets are back in India pooping on their own beaches

I have been busy with dozens of other time-sensitive matters, but I wanted to comment on this.
Our federal (and most state) employment laws mandate a level playing field for American workers vis-à-vis foreigners — yet many American tech (and other) companies prefer to hire cheaper/exploitable foreign workers to do routine jobs Americans could do, and they do this by failing to post jobs on their normal hiring channels (PERM violations), letting foreign-born hiring managers pipeline cheap foreign labor from body-shop mills over American workers (H1-B abuses), lie about their eligibility for no-cap H1-B hiring, abuse other visa categories such as J-1 visas (we see you, universities!), abuse OPT hiring to get cheap, exploitable foreign labor, and sometimes — getting super arrogant, gaslight laid-off and sidelined Americans while doing any of the above.
These are not good business practices; they are not patriotic economic practices; and they are illegal labor practices. This administration will not allow American employers to discriminate against American workers. It is illegal, wrong, and bad for our economy. I am sure my colleagues at @USEEOC and @USDOL agree. We are all on the case, and working together to level the playing field for US workers.
Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Can you believe this MAGA Republicans? Is this what you voted for? Not only has the Trump administration limited initial foreign exchange visas to just 4 years for undergrad, but now they're also not permitting these same students from having summer internships at American companies in most cases. They'll have to hire one of the millions of American students for those internships which are seen as crucial entryways into corporate America! And this will cause universities to see enrollment declines, as well. Is this what you wanted?

It really seems like an all-hands-on-deck surge and even the largest tech companies aren't safe

Good. Any company that hires H1Bs should be denied government contracts on top of it.

One of the funny things these people try to pull is to equate hiring Americans first with "DEI for white people"
It's a completely false equivalency which is almost comical.
