Talking about a celebrity that is jetting all over the world while at the same time preaching to everyone about ‘climate change’

quote:

And also the guy with an outreach of millions. Individuals will not save the earth from global warming, only policy can. Even if his footprint is 1000 times that of anyone in this subreddit, it doesn't fricking matter if he drives change
.

And there you go.

The celebrity could "drive change" by flying first class on Delta and arriving in Switzerland 5 hours later. He would save like 99.5% of his carbon emissions by doing this.

Greta Thornberg drove change by sailing to America in a boat with no motor.
Then she had a plane fly over from Europe to pick up the boat and fly it back home.

Wait, so global warming is perfectly fine if you are trying to stop global warming?

That is how they justify Stalin and Mao's megamurder - the ends justify the means.

To show that alternative means of travel that are more environmentally friendly are plausible*

I’d like to ask the guy why he think a gas that makes up .039% of the atmosphere can alter the global climate.

And even though the planet was teeming with life at approaching/slightly exceeding A WHOLE PERCENT (20x or more current levels), if it got much below .018% (about half current levels), plants would struggle with photosynthesis and we would soon all die.

The alarmists seem to gloss over these range limits without much fuss. Ergo, not science. Quasi-religion.
