A question for you pro-abortion folks

If it could be proven to you that the fetus feels pain during the abortion procedure, would that change your mind about abortion?
TIA
TIA

This would not change their mind at all.
Abortion rights are simply about empowering women to have the ability to have consequence free sex like men.
They have determined that anything less than full abortion rights treats women essentially like 2nd class citizens. Like cattle they say.
No pain no gain in a sick way

I honestly think the only thing that will make someone pro abortion reverse their view is to watch an abortion being performed.
Only then will they realize it's murder and not a "choice".

Child support no longed exists mixed with an unequal playing field to parental rights?

While I’m not pro abortion, I’ll bite.
From the scientific perspective it has already been proven that before 8 weeks the neurological pathways of the fetus are not advanced enough to feel pain. The other way of looking at it though is that after 8 weeks it is scientifically proven that there could be pain. So technically what you are saying has been proven and disproven at the same time. Abortion is a really complex topic that people tend to tunnel vision on one aspect of and forget the nuances of what it entails.

There’s nothing at all complex about what you just said. It’s actually black and white. Before 8 weeks the fetus doesn’t feel pain; after 8 weeks it does.

No you misunderstood me on multiple counts. First off, what I was saying was complex was the entire concept of abortion, not the pain aspect.
But also, it’s not necessarily that all fetuses will feel pain after 8 weeks. That just simply isn’t true due to variations in the speed of development. What has been proven is that it is impossible for a fetus to develop fast enough to feel pain before 8 weeks, but it is possible for one to develop fast enough to feel it after 8 weeks. That’s why even that part of it becomes a slight unknown after 8 weeks, because realistically anywhere from 9-15 is an area where it’s impossible to know if the fetus is feeling pain or not.

If it was proven a fetus felt absolutely no pain, would it change you anti-choice folk’s opinion?

This is all 100% true unfortunately. Pro abortion women are some truly nasty women. Usually both figuratively and literally.

I think pro abortion folk should have to prove it doesn’t have a soul.

Where my pro choice brothers at!?!

Four downvotes. I see some people can't stomach reality. They only believe in what they see in a movie I guess.

Cool. Until any church anywhere can prove the existence of a soul, every church that enjoys exempt tax status loses that immediately.

I guess this means if you’re not willing to observe any surgical procedure being done you don’t believe in it then.

If it could be proven that pain is felt by the participants of war, like children being burned alive or napalmed leading to their death, would you support a law banning war?
Posted on 6/6/19 at 8:10 am to L.A.
Also, childhood leukemia treatment is massively painful and not always successful.
Why do you think pain should be a variable?

Well I'm already against it... so not really.
My biggest concern is concern is this: what is the reason abortion comes up now?
Seriously: it wont make the target audience any less likely to get an abortion.
*they will get the procedure elsewhere
*those who still have kids and are already irresponsible will just get there federal welfare.
Are you honestly doing this for religious reasons? If so, why is there no provisions in these bills regarding helping the mother?
