Me and the missus (who is a minority) have agreed to keep the news off all weekend to cleanse our brains for 48 hours.

What? How will it reflect poorly on Trump? Is he responsible for the policing of DC? Didn't the mayor send home the National Guard and tell him Federal troops weren't welcome? Repaint the street in front of the White House? Rename it?

Let them burn the the city to the ground like the terrorists that they are. I remember what Madonna said about the White House after the 2016 election. I also remember what this country was like after 9/11. Perhaps, their actions would be too much for 98% of the country and we could be rid of that 2% that causes a majority of the problems.

Looks like the largest gathering so far has been "more than 1,000 people" at the Lincoln Memorial. WaPo also reports other random groups of " dozens" and "about a hundred."
