This was one of Turtles henchmen. Thom Tillis, Thune and the gang were unhinged & livid!
So they ordered Pence to give the fake diplomatic statement. Pence's family was in danger! What a sad joke!
These remarks indicate to me that the professional Republican control officers are growing increasingly desperate as President Trump continues to command the new Republican Party. If Ron DeSantis was making ground, the professional Republican class would not be as desperate as these remarks convey. All of their collective GOPe effort isn’t working…. they are starting to reach for the kitchen sink.[/quote]So will DeSantis copy Pence's statement, like they did with the blank check Ukraine statement to appease?

Speaking at the Gridiron Dinner in Washington DC yesterday, former Vice President Mike Pence directly blamed President Trump for the events in Washington DC on January 6, 2021, saying:
“President Trump was wrong; I had no right to overturn the election. And his reckless words endangered my family and everyone at the Capitol that day, and I know history will hold Donald Trump accountable.” ~ Mike Pence

I couldnt imagine having an account that spends 24/7 crying about Trump daily. Its clear that something is not right with you. But it seems from what others have said is you were the same in 2016. So 7yrs of this. Yeah you are not a loser

You really are ignorant. They got rid of that. They are also eliminating LBV. You know... the city.

It is a simple damn question. Did Disney maintain complete exemption from property & sales tax, tax-free bonds
For an idiot it is that simple. For others it is complex. Disney and not the state are on the hook for all past and future bonds. The state also controls all of the Disney property.
There is much more but many of you are actually simple democrats that are too stupid to learn. Disappointing for this board. Expected more.
And I'm not either team trump or DeSantis for gods sake. Isn't the goal to beat democrats and stop this country from collapsing

So the governor now controls their board? The same board that issue tax-exempt bonds and other measures? That's somehow a win for Disney? If anything it gives too much power to the Governor's office over a private organization. I'm a DeSantis supporter (who will also vote for Trump if he is the nominee) and that's that attack that would hold water with me because THAT does bother me.

Does he start daily threads crying about Trump like those other fanatics do about DeSantis?

I'm guessing there won't be many lessons learned here.

Didn’t do shite to Disney. If you know anyone in the know in FL. You know this.

But he sounded tough when he did nothing, that’s very important

Ron is really a good politician....and that scares me.

Ron is in over his head so far. They are taking him out as we speak.

but I have always suspected there was, at the very least, a lot of winking and nodding going on WITH Disney with this stuff.
quote:
Disney had no problem letting DeSanctus get his headlines and stump speech talking point because Disney kept everything they need and want.

Trump is 100% spot-on, correct. The Miami Herald reported on it.

Disney is more powerful than Ron Desantis in Florida.
quote:
The more we learn about Desantis the more it appears that he is nothing more than deep state in sheep's clothing.
quote:
It was quid pro quo. Otherwise Disney would have sued the shite out of Desantis. They wanted a reason to fire Chapek and bring back Iger, and Desantis wanted a leg up on going after Trumps base
Disney got exactly what they wanted
