We've had "whoopses" with our allies as well and none have gone to war with us.
Iran's track record since 1979, their attacks weren't accidents or mis identifications.

Even worse is the threat of small, cheap anti-personnel drones. They have completely changed what a battlefield looks like. If we do delpoy ground troops, I pray to God that we have developed a high-tech and effective defense against drones.

There was a primary.
Some people in said primary would have kept their promises.
