Thanks for sharing this incredible eyewitness account. I wished the weather would have been better.

It looked awesome on TV. The kids looked at me and asked if our summer vacation next year could be DC around the 4th so we can be there. I have started looking for RV sites to make it happen...

this was really only 1/2 of it...there were as many under the trees and even more waiting to get in...amazing experience.
virtually all positive, pleasant people celebrating America's independence...just a wonderful day in spite of rain

Wow,you trump boys are a bunch of pussies.
No wonder it's so easy for trump to grab you.
Oh well,I hope my tax dollars helped your rally/circle jerk.
And I hope each of you learned about the army closing the airport during the Revolutionary war,we learn something new every day.
I don't need a shithead to give a jacked up history lesson to inspire me to love my country.
Maybe you boys should learn to do it on your own.

You seem upset. Was it the USA chant? The fireworks? Or just the general pleasantness and optimism of yesterday?

I was there also. Still in town too. Yesterday was a great day.
^^view from under the trees of POTUS/FLOTUS (keeping out of the rain.)
The pic in the OP shows about half of the people in attendance. Under the trees and other parts of the lawn/grounds were covered with MAGA bigly.
I lol'd at this off in the distance...
Protesters simpleton cries and screams in my area of the POTUS's Salute to America were outchanted with the red blooded Americans cadence of USA USA USA!!!
