Another way to put it, think of it like the Masters golf tournament. Every year you hear players and commentators say “You can’t win the Masters on Thursday, but you sure can lose it.” For all intents and purposes, this Presidential Election hasn’t even tee’d off yet. Right now it’s just “hold steady, prepare for battle, set your aim” mode.

Trump has given us no reason to write him off or underestimate him. He may in fact be the greatest politician of our lifetime. Don’t let your desire for perfection cloud your perspective.

Quit being a bunch of emotional women and enjoy the show!

You are right. What usually matters is how "undecided" voters feel in September and October. The debates can also matter, and this year will probably play a big role with "undecided" voters.

If the Virus had not come along - from China - Trump would be a lock. But it did and he has not handled it well IMO. How people feel about the economy - in Sept and Oct - matters. That is not a plus for Trump.

More importantly, the Senate is important and not many are talking about it. Colorado is close, North Carolina is close ... and I think Maine is close, and maybe one other. The GOP better spend some BIG money on those states to win. If Biden wins, he may help carry some of those states into the Blue column.

The DEMs having the White House, the US House and the Senate would be disastrous, particularly in the current environment.
