This revolving door of public to private and back to public service definitely underscores the power of the “Administrative State”, and even a shadow government.

But this innuendo crap that the OP is pulling with loaded terms like “shadowy firm” is, frankly, what you’d expect from the propaganda media. Where are the details of why we should think this particular group is corruptly subverting democracy?

What does the fact that they are Catholic have anything to do with this?

Are you idiots really upset that a Catholic carries a rosary in his pocket or that he prays the Our Father?

It is a shadow group.

And the catholic thing strikes me as odd because leftists generally push back on Christianity and make fun of catholics. Yet voted one in that appoints others to join him.

Just seems odd.

Just like Kamala being the top cop of california but i thought ACAB.

The firm, which now looks like a government-in-waiting for the next administration, was founded in 2017 by Tony Blinken, President-elect Joe Biden’s choice for secretary of State, and Michèle Flournoy, a top contender for secretary of Defense. And one of its former principals, Avril Haines, is Biden’s pick for director of national intelligence.

But little is known about WestExec’s client list. Because its staffers aren’t lobbyists, they are not required to disclose who they work for. They also aren’t bound by the Biden transition’s restrictions on hiring people who have lobbied in the past year.

TDS wrecked a lot of folks.

One guy (a Catholic, who works in outreach programs as well as a sponsor for catechumens) told me Joe's stance on abortion was not as big an issue as Trump's treatment of illegals, because they are escaping political persecution.

You can't help these people.

Not one Catholic is taught to worship Mary or the Pope, you do understand that right? You can't be that dumb right?

This was reported on immediately after the election. No one cared.

Such high-powered Washington consulting firms are “the unintended consequence” of greater disclosure requirements for registered lobbyists, said Mandy Smithberger, director of the Center for Defense Information at the Project on Government Oversight.

By not directly advocating for federal dollars on behalf of their clients, they don't have to publicly divulge who is paying them and for what activities, such as the connections they make with government agencies, she said. But it is also impossible to assess the influence they have on federal expenditures.

Transnational Progressive Cabal; they are like the Mafia, if you are a "made man", then you set for life. Unless the whole thing goes down.

In this case, the (Marxist Egalitarian) Cabal believes that their Ideology is morally superior. That is recipe for all in conflict against opposition.

Ten years from now, we will not even recognize or will our Nation resemble what was a stable and prosperous norm for hundreds of years.

Catholicism is a cult, and not true Christianity.

Guess what? Non Christians who would like to see Christians on the end of a rope don't distinguish between the original christian religion and the splinter groups.

I always find it ironic when protestants say Catholicism isn't Christianity when they would not have their religion had it not used 95% of Catholicism to make it up (In psychology they call that "Projection). I went through 14 years of catholic school and not once did they teach us anything but compassion and brotherhood with Protestant splinter groups, because in the end you all love the same Jesus and the basic message is literally the exact same.

WestExec clients, meanwhile, have controversial interests in tech and defense that intersect with the policies their former consultants are now in a position to set and execute.

Here is a small list of companies Blinken worked with.

AT&T
Boeing,
FedEx
Discovery
Facebook
LinkedIn
Microsoft
Uber.
Sotheby’s
Gilead Sciences
Blackstone
Lazard
Royal Bank of Canada
SoftBank
UAE
NATO
Israel

These are the heavy hitters. This is not just a few ties to a few companies. Those of you who do not know Blinkens name should know he is the Secretary of State for the Biden Admin. Can you imagine if this was 45?

Read a book maybe two, formed out of thin air in 2017 and now in charge of the most powerful offices in the federal goverement.

Walks and talks like an intelligence operation to me.

CIA Officer E. Howard Hunt states, "We have always said, you know, in an admiring way that the Jesuits form the greatest intelligence agency in the world, and always have."

WestExec has a wiki page, which is amusing for a shadow operation.
