If you turn yourself in, we will put you in New Mexico near the border with Mexico, where we will teach you how to build your own houses, how to grow your own food, teach you the English language, etc. and in 5 years, if you have proven good behavior, you will be allowed to take a citizenship test to become an American.
Upon successful completion of the requirements, you will be exactly like all other American citizens. Until that time, you will have to stay in the area we designate for you, or you are allowed to cross the border into Mexico and go back to where you came from..
Basically a holding area where they are free to stay and become a citizen, or free to go home. It isn't a jail.
Imo, the only immigrants that would consider this option are the type of people that would make good Americans.. Maybe it works, maybe it doesn't, but it's possible a lot of people consider this a better option than going back to where they came from..
Make it a safe environment, build some metal buildings for shelter and give them some materials to build their own homes.. obviously help them in the beginning..
Idk, just an idea.

Cant fix it all in Trump's term. The smart move is to elect a R POTUS after Trump. Trump sets the ground work, the next R can just let it ride. If Trump gets out 10,000,000 then we, as a whole, are still way better off.
Just no pauses for 4 years or overturning EOs by electing a D because Trump was a big meany.

No sand here. I didn't think you were among the crowd so overcome by emotion that your reading comprehension went to shite. I'm simply asking a relevant question. There isn't manpower for these deportations, so incentivizing self-deportation has to occur. That said, I don't see how your suggest here holds much weight - these people see no barrier to getting in and no punishment for getting caught and no reason to leave. Being banned from entry means nothing - they were already banned from entering and they entered anyway.
Do any of you have ideas or do you all just emote and bleed on your keyboards because someone doesn't lick Trump's balls? When might we see taxes on remittances or cash incentive to leave, or a formal policy on stopping benefits to illegals? Will Trump simply say "you have 30 days to leave"? The border is existential to our nation. Seems like a good question to find out how we get people that invaded our nation, out of our nation.

This sounds good. But to them, being in the run in America is better than being a citizen in Central America.

Logical, and probably the most realistic view. However, I'd like to see a total reset. In Trump's tenure. We don't know what may come after he leaves.
I posted my plan here before. With pretty good cash incentives to leave and even massive compensation for Greyhound and others for non-stop movement to the border for processing and movement south, and spending on a lot of other stuff to incentivize movement, I still project a savings of $50B per year. I think we save more than that to be honest. We lose $150B per year just at the federal level. That's just in the budget. That doesn't get into property damage, injury and death of Americans, local / state hospital and educational costs, etc etc etc.
We're full and we're broke and if we leave people here, IF Democrats get in power again, we'll see amnesty and voting rights and then it's over. I'm frankly surprised Biden didn't do that by fiat before leaving office.

Team Trump should make an announcement that those illegals who voluntarily leave in the next 3 months and then reapply for re-entry into the US at a later date will be given favorable consideration over those who are forcibly removed who will be refused re-entry into the US for 5 years.
