We have a glacier, a raging pandemic and Brandon to deal with; who cares about aliens?

What was the big UFO news? I’m still waiting.

All I heard was confirmation that the military has observed flying objects that they can’t identify. Isn’t that the same place we’ve been at for decades?

Where’s the proof of alien bodies in cold storage and all that crazy alien technology we’ve reverse engineered?

If there were really aliens they would be cashing welfare checks, getting move around the country on secret night flights and Trump would be called alienophobic.

Or they would conclude after watching 30 seconds of Joe Biden that we deserved extermination.

Webb telescope should tell us a lot more than we have ever known when it is operational in six months. The people on the project said once its starts operating we may know about other life forms in a couple of weeks....or a couple hundred years.

Newsflash- If there actually are craft which can outmaneuver our top defenses. avoid radar/scanning systems and jet fighters, then guess what? They're a threat. Hands down.
the probe launched in the 1970s will take 50,000 years to reach the next nearest solar system in our shitty little galaxy. That's the level of our technology. If an alien race with the technology required to reach us ever bothers, they would look at us like I look at an ant on the sidewalk

Life, or intelligent life? That is the question and then it is only true, if our Government, or "world leaders" tells us it is.

Isn't that where we are in this debate?

We are not even totally sure if we are even the apex species on this planet.

My guess is that whatever is visiting us is what we'd call sentient A.I. The "makers" of these things likely are long extinct, or too far away to be concerned with, and our 'leaders' know this. But they probably only can guess as to what - if any - intentions these craft we're seeing have. They may view us as harmless insects or are just biding their time until they get new programming.
