Of course.

Who's the ghost-writer now?

Stephen Glass?

And if this story is true...and it's probably not because there are too many obvious words and phrases that sound so fake and self-serving with too many liberal buzz-words, Penthouse Letters and Readers' Digest would be like..."fake news."

But if it is true...

quote:

The ride would still be another 35 minutes when the driver suddenly pulled over near a small gas station and antiques shop on Route 38 and told Montgomery that he couldn’t take her any farther.

“I was scared and I felt more alone than I had ever felt,” she says.

But she was still set on finding a way to her appointment.

Of course, you can miss a Dentist appointment, a doctor's appointment to remove a gall bladder but sure as hell can't miss an abortion.
quote:

“I took refuge on the porch of the antiques shop and called my parents."

Where did your baby take refuge? Oh that's right, you're uterus.

Too bad your baby couldn't call someone for help.

quote:

Montgomery paid $120 for a cab that took her the remaining half-hour of the drive. When she got to the clinic an hour after her appointment time, she felt “incredible relief” to be in the company of doctors who treated her with dignity and respect.

Unlike how she treated her baby.
quote:

She admits that her ride home was also uncomfortable, but she didn’t feel unsafe as she had during the Uber ride prior.

She felt more uncomfortable with an Uber driver who wouldn't give her a ride than after having an abortion?

but . . .

Through my heaves and sobs I managed . . .but I knew I shouldn't have to justify my choices to anyone
Well my goodness, heaving and sobbing like that, oh it's just terrible . . . . but by-the-way, she says treat me as gender-neutral. Don't you dare hint at observable gender-related tendencies in addressing circumstances, or this poor wretch might once again set upon her sobs and heaves instead of focusing on tasks at hand.

If it's true, the driver is a jackass who probably "drives" more women to abortions than not.

On the one hand, she is a selfish worthless bitch but on the other hand she is too stupid to be a child's mother so there is always a silver lining.

I have said this before but it bears repeating because it is so true.

Conservative women would die to protect their children.

Liberal women would kill their children to protect themselves.

It's just in a libs DNA to be selfish and kill kids for the sake of their convenience.

My thing is, how the hell do you live in rural New York and not own a car. So her family can afford $45k+ a year tuition at Cornell, but can’t find the extra cash for a Kia Soul or something.

I’ve never had an abortion to know firsthand nor did I read the entire article to see if my question was answered within it, but:

Physically speaking, Can a woman who’s just had an abortion, simply freshen up, put her clothes back on and catch a 35 minute Uber back to the house?

Psychologically speaking, if she can AND does so, then how is that woman any different from any other murderous sociopaths like Andrea Yates or Susan Smith?
