Speaking of rushing to judgement... I told him i agreed that solar winds ALSO cause climate change, jackass. If you weren't so quick (faster than mimutes) to respond, you wouldve read that.
Still a shill!

This is sort of where I stand.
It's like the comic.. "but what if global warming is a hoax and we make the world a better place for nothing?"
But I also bring in Ace's point. I'm not willing to impair civilization for a nebulous threat that may not exist.

I think everyone agrees that solar activity is a driving force in climate change. The question is whether humans are having a greater effect on our climate than the sun. Unfortunately the evidence points to human caused green house emissions warming the troposphere (lower atmosphere) at a faster rate than the sun is warming the stratosphere. Therefore the boundary between the troposphere and stratosphere is rising (tropopause). If humans were not having any impact, then both layers would warm equally and that's just not the case.
This issue isn't as black and white as it seems at first. It's too bad this issue has become politicized and full of conspiracy theories on both sides.
Link to a good article that looks into the science behind both points of view: LINK
